Reading Kindle annotations in Calibre

Hi,

I've made numerous annotations in several books on my Kindle, but when I transfer the books back to my PC and open them up in Calibre, the annotations are not there.

This is the case with books converted (using Calibre) from epub to mobi or those I've directly acquired in mobi format.

Is there a way to do this? I've tried moving and storing the clippings file in the same directory, but it hasn't helped.

Surely there must be a way to integrate the notes. And if not, is there some sort of lightweight PC ereader that will do this?
