Where are my books located?

I got a Kindle for Christmas... and a gift card to the sony ebook store

I want to put my books in ADE instead of using the Sony reader... however I can't find where the files are stored. I downloaded one book, but when I go into the sony directory folders I don't see anything that looks like an ebook. Can anyone help? Oh, I am on a PC running Vista if that is needed.

Thanks in advance! I have been lurking around since getting my Kindle but this is my first post.

Problem resolved!! I have searched several times for this but a thread popped up at the bottom of the screen that resolved it!!
