Help with a regex for renaming a book

I have my book titles named a particular way so they display in the correct order when I view them on my Kindle.

#01 | {book title}

Where 01 is the number of series/sub series.

I've got the following:

1. Search field: series_index
2. Search for: ^(\d{1,2}).0$
3. Replace with: #0 |
4. Destination field: title

Now I'm not 100% sure how I'd get the group from the search and insert it in the replace. I don't even know if it's possible.

Don't muck with the Library names, use the metadata Plugboard to add {series_index} | to the title
