As far I know, you can't.

One can only delete files. Read the manual.

The latest patches on the leafpad port of the DR has a new file open dialog, which also allows you to rename files. I have not tried if it can also 'rename' it to another folder. (For tekst based files you can just open and save them to a new location.)
Note that the DR uses the metadata.db files to store information of a file, so at least all scribbles will be lost. New files will also only be 'detected' after the folder is opened again. So moving and copying does not fit nicely with the 'way-to-use' the DR. So, warning: Do this at your own risk! |

Usually I don't have to rename files, since they are already named appropriately.
But it is very inconvenient when it comes to WritePads. I have lots of files like 'Notes 001.pdf', 'Notes 002.pdf', 'Notes 003.pdf', ... which would have been much easier to manage if I were able to rename them appropriately right after creating them from the template. |
