hey guys,
first post here cause i was looking for some solutions for my fire. I already use unblock-US, and everything work greats except one thing. I can download and buy apps on silk browser, but i cant download them on app menu context on the fire....you guys can? Appears one error about US credit card and billing address (wich i have both set in US) so basically the only way i have to get the free apps is from silk browser on amazon app store webpage...and i want to get them from the app menu on fire system. |

Hi, Therethere (and everyone else),
I'm also new here. Can you stream from amazon/netflix/hulu to your Kindle Fire using unblock-us? Thanks in advance. Cheers, username0 |

Are you saying unblock-us could be blocked on Amazon app store? Interesting. Maybe Amazon store is using some additional system parameters. Did you try through VPN tunnel as well?

Well i made an exception
I'm saying that to get apps working, you dont need us unblock just that. Unblock-us is only needed to get instant video, nothing more. |

Amazon uses the country of issue on your credit card to verify you are in the us. The only way around this is by having a us issued credit card, for that I purchased a prepaid american express card in Target o my last trip to the us, and it has allowed me to download the apps, even though I'm not connecting through a vpn at hte moment. You need unblock-us or a vpn enabled router for tue streaming video, but for the apps you just need the credit card. Hope this helps.

Kindle Fire
I second the unblock-us.com test.
This seems to be the easiest and least invasive way to change some dns settings in your router and move forward with a kindle fire. The amazon free prime videos and others work very well. No issues. I'm on a trial run with the site but I plan on paying for it. I'm using it on a laptop, desktop, Samsung Galaxy 10.1, Kindle Fire and a Wii. I've tried netflix on all of them and it is working like a charm!!! Like Pushka says it works like a treat!! It is a treat to get American netflix. I don't like Brazilian Netflix as it dubs all the kid shows. My son is an English speaker and he needs to reinforce that any way necessary. |

Kindle VPN without Rooting
Here is how I connect to a VPN on my kindle.
1. Install Featvpn 2. Browse to vpngate.net/en 3. Touch the link "Let's change your IP address" 4. Touch and hold the OpenVPN Config file for the first gateway, and open in a new tab 5. Touch and hold the tcp ovpn file, open in a new tab 6. The ovpn file will download. 7. Start featvpn. 8. Add a tunnel, and import the ovpn file. 9. Press the back arrow, and click on the vpn tunnel you created. 10. If everything works, you are connected. |

If using a UK version of the Kindle Fire HD, how would I play Amazon Instant Videos even if I did have a US prime membership and correctly set up VPN as outlined in this thread?
The UK version pushes LoveFilm and doesn't play or have an app for Amazon Instant Video? How would the AIV prime movies be accessed on a non-USA device? |

I've been using this VPN *https://www.iwasel.com/en/ for quite a while now, never used another vpn because I've not had a seconds trouble with them. The account is unlimited. No downtime and very helpful support, very fast replies. It is not easy to find a real good VPN provider.
