Prime or Kindle Unlimited.

HI,
I just started my free month of kindle unlimited and have been enjoying it so far. I do plan on getting prime as a Christmas gift so that we can get the streaming services on the fire tv stick. Do you get the same books with Kinlde Unlimited as a prime member? I am just trying to understand what books are free to prime members. I just need to know if I need both Unlimited and Prime.

The Prime, Kindle Owners Lending Library, contains a lot of the same books as KU, but not all of the same books are on both services. Keep in mind too that the KOLL isn't unlimited borrowing like KU is, it's only one book per month.

Ok..Thank you. I was confused as to why someone would need KU when the lending library is available. Since the lending library is only one book per month, I get it now.

The main draw of prime is not free over night shipping not the books or the movies, so if you order a lot of things from amazon then prime is a good idea, if you don't then unlimited is a better idea.
