Which Firmware for T68?

Which Firmware should I install on my T68?
I have installed updates from http://ereader-store.de/en/content/8-downloads in the past, but now I'm not sure which to choose.
Should I go with 1.8.1, which seems to be Android 4.0.4, or should I go with the 4.4 update.
The 4.4 update seems to be very old in comparison to the 4.0.4 update.

If you want to install the greatest range of apps on your device you could go with Kitkat, but if you want the latest Onyx apps go with ICS. I haven't used ICS in awhile as I don't use any of the Onyx apps, so I have limited perspective.

You could always flash one or the other, try it, then flash the other. I've done that several times. Be aware that sometimes you need to flash the same rom more than once. Dunno why, it just seems unstable sometimes until you flash again.

Thanks. I guess I will go with 4.4 since I rarely use the preinstalled apps.

Will these updates work with the Lynx version of the T68?

You might want to do an advanced search for Lynx update. One of the results:

There are others that might be helpful. Mine wasn't a Lynx, so I don't know much about your situation.
