Take an extra $30 off 1st gen Nexus 7

  • valid online, by phone or in US stores
  • Nexus 7 - 16GB ($180) --> $150 --> $140 (in-store only)

Quote:
Valid in Staples® U.S. stores, online at staples.com® or by phone at 1-800-333-3330. Discount applies to First Generation Nexus 7 tablet from Google™. Item nos. 949231 and 100604 only. Coupon not valid if purchased or sold and must be surrendered. No cash/credit back. Not valid on prior purchases or purchases made with Staples® Procurement or Convenience Cards.
Looks like Staples didn't clear their stock of 1st gen Nexus 7s from last week's Extra $30 off all Tablets sale, so it's round two this week.

It's round three for the 1st gen Nexus 7. This offer expires Sun 11 Aug. Print the coupon for in-store use or use the promo codes for online and phone orders.

Before you jump on this offer, consider a better one at OfficeMax. They have a 20% off coupon on all tablets and ereaders (in-store only), which brings the price down a bit more ($6 for 16GB & $10 for 32GB). Office Depot will honor OM coupons; but for Staples, it's a hit and miss proposition and up to the store manager.

So it boils down to online vs in-store shopping, store proximity, and stock availability.

see this thread for details ---> 20% off all Tablets & eReaders
