Spreading the word
No it's not another religious thread! I've owned my ereader for almost 2 months now and I'm quite addicted to it and I'm pretty sure my enthusiasm touches the people around me to. So far in the past month:

I've done my share of pimping the Kindle 3. My boss is looking to get one for the spouse this Xmas.

and Lo, the sky was darkened and the sun turned to Blood. Humanity trembled in fear and Confusion. Then, in the last desperate hour, a Savior appeared! Ereader was it's name, and it showed humanity the Way.
Hallelujah and Amen! Read the Ereader, or be doomed! |

Maybe not religious, Mike -- but you come across as a tremendously effective ebook evangelist. Good on ya. Congratulations and here's karma. Neil

if I had 5 bucks for every convert I've made, I'd have every Kindle edition in triplicate AND Oberon covers for all of them (well almost)

I think I may have made a sale in my doctor's office the other day. The woman seated next to me asked me how I liked my Kindle, so I showed her a few of the features and took it out of it's Oberon case and let her hold it to see how light it was. I should be on commission.

I've done my bit too! Showed my Sony 300 to my relative in the States, and she went out and brought a Kindle.
I'm going on holiday soon, so I can take 100 books with me and not fall foul of the 10kg hand baggage restrictions! |

I've convinced 2 people this week to stick with paper books for now, but one woman told me she will consider getting an ebook reader when they're cheaper.

Well I'm flashing my Kindle on the way to work everyday. So far I haven't seen an enormous surge in readers on the train. Perhaps I need to get a bigger one so it's more visible

Ok, I just got this image of a Kindle wearing nothing but a raincoat and a leer on its screen. Thanks for THAT visual.
