mobileread button
Some websites have downloadable buttons, for instance, these weather stickers:
http://www.wunderground.com/geo/Bann...Sunnyvale.html What with the new logo coming out and all, it would be cool to have some mobileread logo stickers that people could put on their webpage if they want, in addition to just the link on the invite page (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/invite.php). I don't know if I'm describing this well; let me know if you'd like me to clarify it. |

This is more like it
Those weather buttons were more advanced than I was thinking of for us, as they had updating material in them. This is more like what I had in mind for mobile read:
http://www.knittingdaily.com/about/button.html I like the assortment of sizes and images so people can pick the one they like and post it on their page. Last edited by europas_ice; 03-06-2008 at 04:36 PM. |

When we have the logos ready, I will make some real ones in HTML and put them in the Wiki.

Yeah, yeah, I already made one for my webpage too. But not everyone knows how to do that. The easier we make it the more likely they are to link here.

How to Make a Button
I'm sticking this here so I can find it later.
Here is a button: <a href="http://draftlessig.org"><img src="http://draftlessig.org/outreach/draft-lessig-179x39.jpg" alt="draft lessig" style="border: 0;" /></a> It doesn't work because HTML code is disabled in my posts. <a href="WebsiteAddressGoesHere"><img src="PictureAddressGoesHere" alt="BackupPieceTextGoesHere" style="border: 0;" /></a> Here is a valid button for MobileRead (I think): <a href="https://www.mobileread.com"><img src="https://www.mobileread.com/forums/images/mr/misc/logo.gif" alt="MobileRead Forums" style="border: 0;" /></a> |
