I see that if you want a case it is an extra 39.99, which brings the price of the 5" Sony to $239.98 - Ten Dollars and Ninety Eight Cents higher than the Pocket Pro.

it is strange that it doesn't mention anything about expandable memory for the 600's | was sure that was a feature.....am I mistaken?

Should be the same as the 505, memory stick and SD card.

I'd advise against it at this point, anyway, I'm betting that's actually a case that fits a 505.

Unless the 600 uses a different way to connect the cover I think a 505 cover should fit OK. The 600 is only slightly thicker.

The 5inch Sony 300 comes with a "sleve" type case... The 6inch 600 doesn't come with a case (a la Kindle2) and they have one to sell you.

True, although I'd probably still wait and doublecheck - I was thinking in terms of the 300.

I do a lot of reading in low light so the cover doesn't matter to me that much since I plan on buying a cover with the built in light wedge. What I'm wondering how will I use the touchscreen if I have a light wedge over the screen? Although I'm used to buttons to turn pages on my 505, on my 700 I always swipe the screen w/ my finger to turn pages. I wonder if that grey area btwn the screen and buttons with the icons on it is so wide because it's also a touch surface for page turning. I hope so unless they have some other type of lighting system built into the cover.
