*embarrased* Happens to me too!
I've toyed with the idea of trying to find a spring-arm from a magnifier/lamp assembly (akin to this model off of Amazon ) and homebrewing a clamp on the end that could hold the reader. That way all I'd have to do is hit the page buttons and fall asleep... The ultimate in lazy bed reading? Last edited by LaughingVulcan; 03-27-2007 at 11:43 PM. It's lucky we're not using Yvan's wonderful wooden Reader case. That could cause serious injury if it hit you on the head!
Do you include a "health warning" with it, Yvan? |

At my last job we came up with one for situations where a person could do himself hurt if he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing, it would seem to fit:

As long as you stay on your back, it will remain so. But one false move and everything falls off your body, like anything would. At least you don't get it in your face. Personally I like LaughingVulcan's solution. Make the support movable, orientable and include a lighting system, like my boxe's and it would make a lazy boy's dream. Oh! and don't forget that &$#(&% remote! |
