Unhappy Children's Books: Just Images (From AWZ KFX )
I had to dump just the images from a book and create thr EPUB by hand. I was looking to buy more books but again they are just images and end up not looking right in any reader.

* Am I missing a setting in Calibre
* Can i at least run a program to automate image files to EBUB?

These will be fixed layout books. They are not supported in calibre. Your best bet is tozip up the images into a cbz file and use that.

Worked great!
* exported AZ book to epub
* unzipped the epub
* ran on the 'images' folder
zip comic.cbz *.jpeg

Calibre is an amazing tool. I think that I have a related question:

Are children's books with illustrated maps also likely fixed layout books?

Converting to ePub format creates a scrambled mess in terms of formatting. Converting to PDF works well, but produces smaller images (which probably could be edited to work).

Please respond when convenient. Thank you again, and we will continue to support Calibre.
