It looks lovely, congrats.
I'm a chap but I might have to take up crocheting or knitting or something - it's supposed to be good for the soul, and you can make useful stuff too! |

I need to dig out my crochet hook and copy you! Hey, make a little crochet flower to be your button, just scrunch it up and push it thru the buttonhole.

One day when I get around to it, I'd like to do one in yellow and make mini pineapples around the edge for decoration. The black leather cover would shine thru and really emphasize the stitching. And I like making pineapples, used to always have a doily-in-process in my purse... until Walmart started selling them for a buck. Didn't seem worth the trouble anymore.
Thanks for the K! |

I know whereof I speak. I crochet doilies (and many other things) simply for the fun and relaxation of it, just like reading. I've got dozens of completed doilies and I know that no store-bought one can compare to mine. I hardly ever use them (except for lining a basket or tray mostly) but I enjoyed the hell out of making them. |

What about one of those magnet snaps? I just used some on a purse and they are nice. Might be a little strong though...
I love your cover. And the flower just makes it better! |
