Send PDF files to iBooks?
As far as I can see the Apple/iTunes interface to iBooks does not want me to send PDF format files. If I try it wants to convert to ePub.
Have I missed a setting, or is PDF format missing from the formats the iTunes driver accepts? The sticky at the top of the forum certainly suggests that it should be allowed, and iBooks certainly accepts PDF files. |

Did you customize the Apple device driver plugin, checking the PDF box?

That was of course the problem! I had that disabled for using iTunes, so I was assuming that configuring it was not relevant?
Maybe it is worth making the point in the Sticky that the Customization settings are used even if the device driver is disabled? Last edited by itimpi; 02-11-2011 at 02:58 PM. |
