OK, solved the problem of the "next books in the collection" on my prs-350.
I suddenly remembered that used the plugin to manage the Sony x50 Reader's Book List, which alters the date of the selected book by changing that to 2-years in advance, in this case 2013. First I deleted all the books which were affected by this from the device and uploaded them again. Checked that all dates were now from 2011 and installed PRS+ 2.0.13v2beta as per Mark's instructions which I found on page 175 in this discussion. Shutdown and restarted my Reader and ....presto! when selecting "next books in the collection" everything is now as it should be with the next books in the series presented in the right sequence! I'm a happy man :-) thanks to all who contributed to this |

can the dutch text for 'browse folders' be shortened to 'bladeren' i.o. 'bladeren door folders' (too long)?

Your latest builds for x50 series say update but there is no longer a base install under current downloads. Also the update zip file does not have the files mentioned above only a PRSPInstaller folder. At least a new readme.txt file with instructions should be inserted into the download file. |

images have to be put into /database/system/PRSPlus/wallpaper and, if you like, rotated versios into /database/system/PRSPlus/wallpaper/landscape/ |

After creating a local repository clone you will find a folder scripts/core/lang there a file lang.ods with the translated strings. After changing as you like, you have to build your own custom installer by running ant in the "build" folder. Under "Support" also in the Wiki you find a link to the online-version of lang.ods (google-docs) Last edited by Mark Nord; 09-19-2011 at 01:54 PM. Reason: typo |

Calibrefan:
I would recommend using Calibre to do that work for you, no need to delete books and put them back. Just set metadata management to automatic, and enable the tweak 'specify how sony collections are sorted'. I use this to make sure collections (especially series) are always sorted in the correct order. And since PRS+ follows the collection order, the 'next in collection' booklist is always correct as well oldhasbeen: Perhaps you already have, but if you want to, you can make a custom build of the current PRS+ repository following the instructions Mark just mentioned. The current revision has significantly faster loading times if you have a large number of books. In fact: - If you set the booklist to default, there should be no noticeable slowdown; - If you set the booklist to anything other than 'last opened books', the slowdown should be a lot less than in the released version; - Only if you set the booklist to 'last opened books', should it be relatively slow. This is because the entire cache has to be committed before the booklist is updated, otherwise the list isn't updated with books opened in the current session (and I haven't found a way around this). For most people this shouldn't be an issue, but if you have a great number of books, it will take some time to commit cache. Last edited by quisvir; 09-19-2011 at 01:14 PM. |

you are absolutely right, but it wasn't me who set PRSP_x50_2.0.13.beta.zip to "Deprecated" 2.0.13v2beta was labeled intentionally as "*_Update" to correspond to the "update.zip" in above mentioned initial release. So lets put it together again: As an update (to any already installed PRS+ versions, or with a russified-Reader with boroda or amutin CFW ) just extract the content of *update.zip, you will get a folder PRSPInstaller, and put this folder to the IM of your reader. Shutdown and Restart, PRS+ will be updated during restart. If you intend to install PRS+ the first time on a reader with original Sony FW, go to the download-page, switch to "Deprecated" and load the initial 2.0.12 or 2.0.13 file. Run the included "All_in_one_Setup.exe" and update then as mentioned above. |

I noticed that the new Sony PRS-T1BC will be able to download ebooks directly from a public library via wifi. Any chance we can get that functionality added to PRSPlus for the 950?

Kartu, do you know it would be possible to adjust the function scan or nor sd/ms card like version 1.13, where the user only had to change this option on the prs settings, now apart from this it's necessary to conect to usb the reader to pc o restart it to run this function.
thanks |
