Image resizing
Hi,
Is there an equivalent to the HTML tag <IMG WIDTH="w" HEIGHT="h" ...> when including an external image in a post? Thanks |

It's probably worth adding that we discourage the use of external images: it's bad "manners" to use someone else's bandwidth by displaying an image from their site, and there's no guarantee that the image will remain there (remember that someone might be viewing your post years in the future).
The best way to handle images is as attachments; that way they are stored on the MR server and are guaranteed to remain "available" whenever the message may be viewed. |

I don't know if it's fair to tax MR servers with images, videos, and whatnot.

Fairer than leeching bandwidth. Ideally, of course, you'll have or rent your own server to park the image on, and solve the whole problem.

Attaching images here is not a problem. As long as copyright is observed.
