Commercial LRFs from the old Sony Store

Does anyone have lrf files from the Sony Store before they switched to epub? I'm looking especially for those with "interesting" formatting that pushed the boundaries of what the lrf format could do.

Also, did any other ebook retailer sell in the lrf format?

I ended up with a recent collection of PRS-300s and want to see just what they can do with this historical format.

If anyone does have such files, they certainly couldn't share them with you that would almost certainly* be a violation of copyright.

On the other hand, the Patricia Clark Memorial Library has a wide variety of free, public domain LRFs uploaded by our members: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/ebooks.php?forumid=126
Perhaps some of them may give you inspiration.

* -- what is the likelihood that a commercial LRF was a Public Domain book?

LRF with DRM aka LRX was never broken. So any LRX will be of no use if anyone still has them.

I agree with eschwartz to look in the library here for LRF. But to be honest, I don't think there are any LRF that pushes the format to it's limits or does anything special.
