Dang, Calibre is fast!
I just installed 0.7.34, and holy crap is startup fast now! Kudos to Kovid and crew. My library is nowhere near the biggest here (just over 200 books), but there's an extremely noticeable speed improvement in startup between 33 and 34.

Just wanted you and chaley to know that the extreme slowness that would happen when using the bulk metadata editor to remove all tags is gone. I don't know when it went away but I just tested it and it is fast now.

Also the addition of being able to control the program font type and size is a nice touch for those of us with older eyes.
