New H2O How to bypass setup
Good Afternoon - I recently purchased an H2O and want to set it up however I don't want to register it. I have a 32GB card with many books and just want to read.
I can't seem to find a way to bypass the setup after I select my time zone. Is it possible to use the device without registration? Thanks in advance. Trice |

You can connect to usb, mount, then insert a fictional user entry in the .kobo/KoboReader.sqlite
The procedure is already described here somewhere... something like (not tested) Code:
INSERT INTO user (UserID, UserKey, UserDisplayName, UserEmail) VALUES ('a','a','a','a@a'); |

Just would like to mention that KSM 06, with update 01b can do this for you.
