Some side-by-side comparisons of pixel qi screens

I thought you'd all be interested in this: http://tinyurl.com/pixelqi

I've been pretty excited about this technology, and hopefully we'll see it soon.

Nifty. Now if only there were a real product out there, just like with all the other concept technologies that are getting pitched around. It'd be nice if PixelQi, Mirasol, and Liquavista existed in the consumer market to play with and compare and see.

I really should offer to swing by and take photos of some of their potential future products for them. Perhaps they're not yet at a stage where they can/should be compared with other displays like EPDs in high-quality photos. Who knows.

I was watching a demo of this this morning- -the question though with it next to the kindle is whether or not it is being backlit- in the demo he shows that you can turn on or off backlighting and that would dramatically change the contrast levels

The heavy desaturation seen on the taskbar suggests that this display is in its purely reflective state.
