If that is a tablet, just put it in MTP mode and calibre will detect it.

Somewhere in your tablets' settings there will be an option to change the connectivity mode. Find it and toggle it to use MTP or "Media Transfer" mode.

but Calibre does not see it.

I can't help you with this problem, but with my Android tablet I use Calibre Companion App (wireless required) to connect my tablet to calibre as a device and transfer books.

but I want to use the USB cable to connect with Calibre.
