Un point que j'ai oublié de préciser : Ceux qui sauront est écrit pour un public adolescent, mais ça reste un livre plaisant à lire, qui est loin d'être angélique.

Zoé a été compliqué à trouver (la Fnac fermait quand j'arrivais sur Nancy, le Halle du livre ne l'avait plus en stock, je l'ai finalement eu 20-25 minutes avant mon train le lendemain matin ), mais j'ai passé un bon moment à la lire.

Scalzi a réussi, à mes yeux, à raconter la même histoire que dans La Dernière colonie sans trop se répêter. Il y a bien quelques passages qui sont des copies conformes (mais moins que David Webed dans Storm from the Shadows) mais globalement, c'est complémentaire, vu que Scalzi n'avait raconté l'histoire que par les yeux de John Perry, laissant de la place pour Zoé.

J'ai aussi relu les autres tomes depuis, pour me remettre tout en tête, je n'ai pas été des plus efficaces dans ce que j'ai à faire actuellement

Vu que Zoé était trop court pour m'occuper tout le week-end (un peu moins de 400 pages), j'ai relu des Arsène Lupin (la version Ebooks Gratuits), c'est assez marrant le décalage entre la place des personnages féminins, très effacés, avec leur place aujourd'hui : même en rôle secondaire, elles sont plus présentes, plus vivantes.

ha Arsène Lupin !!!! à une époque je ne lisais que ça, je les dévorais aussi vite que je les dénichais !! je ne saurais même pas compter combien je dois avoir de vieux poches délabrées avec encore un prix de 5F griffonné au crayon papier sur la deuxième de couv ! j'ai dû lire toute la série. j'adorais vraiment. tiens, ça fait longtemps, je devrais peut-être les reprendre... surtout si ils sont gratuits !

je découvre et savoure Neal Stephenson ; j'ai dévoré Cryptonomicon, et je suis au 2e tome d'une trilogie : d'abord "Quicksilver" puis "The confusion"... ça se passe en Angleterre, en France et à bien d'autres endroits, sous Cromwell et Louis XIV, on croise Newton et Kant Leibnitz, on assiste au siège de Vienne par les Turcs...c'est jubilatoire, picaresque, érudit... et pas excessivement francophile mais bon...
Et j'adore ces univers qui prennent 1200 pages...

Dans le temps, je rafolais de Bob Morane, de Henri Vernes. Presqu'introuvables aujourd'hui, au moins dans mon coin du monde. Est-ce qu'il y en a en ebook ou en reprint?

Je voudrais bien un peu revivre ma jeunesse passée avec Bob et l'Ombre Jaune. Je ne parle pas des BD, bien entendu, mais bien des livres pocket Marabou.

Vu que Henri Vernes ecrit encore il n'existe pas de versions ebook de Bob Morane. J'ai commence a recollectionner les Bob Morane il y a deux ans. J'ai trouve la moitie des quelques 200 en papier, soit les Marabout. Les Ananke sont plus difficiles a trouver et valent jusqu'a 100 Euros. J'ai deja pense les scanner mais ca prendrait un temps fou. Reste qu'a attendre que M Vernes se decide.

(J'ai pas d'accents sur cette machine)

Whoa, Bob Morane!
Tout les bouquinistes à Montréal ont leur selection en usagé. Souvent le choix est assé limité, mais pour un "fix" rapide, c'est parfait! Je suis certaine que tu peux en trouver facilement quelques uns! Et les Ananke, plus dur à trouver, sont moins bon, alors pas d'inquiétude!

Faut savoir que la plupart des Ananké ont été écrits par des Ghost Writer et cela se voit. D'ailleurs quelques uns sont des pastiches des originaux, quelques histoires sont presque copiés mot par mot. Pas forcément très original, quoi!
