Can't access server/server timeout
I am running Calibre 2.69 on a Win 10 machine. Have been running on Win10 for a year. Have had server running over 2 years same machine worked through all updates. Last week Norton updated since then as far as I can tell, my server went down. I verified all settings in Norton, windows firewall, comcast router. All the same. Added exception for specific IP address as well (not on my router but also sub on comcast). Always getting server timeout errors now.
From log: [02/Oct/2016:09:05:48] ENGINE Bus STARTED [03/Oct/2016:22:11:18] ENGINE Bus STARTING [03/Oct/2016:22:11:18] ENGINE Started monitor thread '_TimeoutMonitor'. You probably need to add an exception for calibre.exe and calibre-server.exe

Norton program control allow calibre.exe, calibre-server.exe and calibre-parallel.exe. Traffic rules Allow in/out computer any communications any protocol all port 8080. no other malware or spyware prevention running. Also 8080 open in router ping ok server timeout from whatsmyip.org

@BadAngel - Probably irrelevant to your calibre 'issue', but FYI ==>> Symantec and Norton Security Products Contain Critical Vulnerabilities | US-CERT

Thank you! I usually run additional malware prevention but have it turned off to try to fix this issue.
