Very good list, but let me correct two things:
1. Plato is written in Rust, not Qt.
2. KOReader, AFAIK, doesn't include any sort of a web browser.

and thanks for KoBox, too!

1. Attach Kobo to PC/Mac with USB cable and click transfer mode on KOBO screen.
2. Locate "Kobo eReader.config" on the KOBO eReader/.kobo folder.
3. Ctrl-click or right-click on "Kobo eReader.config" and open file with a basic text-editing program like TextEdit, BBEdit or Notepad.
4. Add the following code to the file at the bottom - or anywhere, as long as it's separate from the other code:
[FeatureSettings] FullScreenReading=true
5. Save and safely eject your Kobo eReader.
6. Go to Reading Settings on Kobo. A checkbox now allows to remove header and footer to enable fullscreen mode.
Has been deprecated for a good long while, the header/footer individual toggles have been standard for... oh, surely over a year now, if not more?

On Kobo it uses trigger files to boot to another OS or document reader [often simple drawings saved as jpg-files]. KSM and kfmon are easier to set up than fmon, as this requires reinstall following every update. All have different other features.

- kobo start menu (KSM) - obsolete
- kfmon
- fmon
My brain hurts. And this is all kinds of wrong. fmon has been deprecated for years, and KFMon, does, in fact, require a reinstall after a FW update.

@menneske : To add to what NiLuJe said, you should remove any reference to a "bootloader" here. And forget about comparing it with GRUB. It's not the same thing *at all* (except maybe for KSM, but I don't know all the details about it).
Speaking of KSM, you should remove it from your list. It has since the start of the last year been replaced with more secure and less prone-to-crashes addons (i.e. NickelMenu).
Also to add more, none of the "OS'es" you mentioned are actually operating systems (even my KoBox). An appropriate replacement could be "Enhancements" or "Linux subsystems".

But still, nice attempt

Yes, all of the "bootloaders" mentioned seem to more of launchers. However, I'd really like a bootloader to experiment with ! But regardless, great attempt! Some of these are quite obsolete, but I assume you can edit youroriginal post.

Don't worry. I wont bother you again.

Bring on the simple, updated list, then.

Couldn't you bring up the list you made yesterday again? We could review it and change things together, if you don't mind ...
Some things in your list were very good, not all should've been changed!

Also it would be good if we brought up an updated list, because the older ones are quite outdated
I'm sorry if we got you sad, this was not our intent at all (at least not for me)
