Moto Z3 (not the Z3 Play) for $127 (+ $40 activation), couldn't resist at that price. Then couldn't resist getting a few Moto Mods (360° camera mod, Turbopower Pack mod, JBL speaker mod), one of which seems to always be attached, forming a big heavy brick in my hands..
Oasis 2 32GB LTE no ads, $120 plus tax on the recent clearance sale after $30 Amex offer. So happy its got even screen lighting and decent battery life. Bargains trumped need, a character flaw.. Had (still have) perfectly fine Essential Phone and PW2. And before those had perfectly fine phones and Kindles, etc. Last edited by jj2me; 12-22-2019 at 07:34 PM. |

I got one a couple of months ago. Love it for chicken, not so much for steak. I use my handy Dandy George Foreman electric grill to sear it. I just got to have that grill taste for steaks and hamburgers.

Yeah. I mean if you can't get mad about burning a nice meal in the kitchen, where can you?!

Thought that was the whole idea to get a SV for perfect predictable steaks? Let cook at 165°, then sear just long enough to make burn marks and pretend it came off the grill like that. The only downside is the long time to do that.

My LG Convection Double Ovens and the Monument 6 Burner Grill. The grill will hit 600 degrees in 5 minutes. They are as well built as Weber at half the price and in Consumer Reports it was the only grill to beat Weber for first place in the ratings.
