Scanned text pdf with OCR but graphical layer instead vectorial
Hi
I have a scanned text to PDF with OCR, so I can select the text but, the PDF is not showing the real text in screen but the text in a image scanned form, I can select it but it isnt a vectorial text with antialiasing. Image sample: How can I delete the "image" and convert it to a true vectorial text to gain sharpness? |

"Text under image" is the default option in FineReader. Check the settings for PDF output. It will reduce the filesize considerably.
You should also try to OCR grayscale images (if available) instead of black and white. More accuracy this way too, because FineReader uses its own enhancing and filtering method. Last edited by DSpider; 03-01-2012 at 01:59 PM. |
