Removing fingerprints from a Kobo Glo?

I supplose I'm somewhat anal-retentive.....

Just wiping them doesn't seem to do the trick. Is there some mild cleaning fluid that would accomplish this? Or another method that you use that works?

I used my Kobo Glo for a couple of days without the cover, but became disconcerted with the huge number of fingerprints on the back (and a bit on the front, too).

Thanks.

I use a dry microfiber towel. If prints are stubborn, dampen a small area of the towel and rub GENTLY.

I have a black Glo and always read without a cover. The fingerprints looked really bad at first, but after a few weeks of wear the surface lost its powdery look and now the fingerprints no longer show.

I hope you are right, because I'm in the "looking really bad" phase, a I was beginning to think I should do something about those fingerprints.

Thanks, everyone.

I'll try a microfiber and see if I can clean it up a bit.

*insert pointless crack about greasy fingers*

I always use a sleepcover, so I'm not bothered about the back. I wear glasses, so I always have spectacle-wipes on hand; a simple swipe now and then (no liquids involved) takes care of it for me. I agree with trying a very slightly damp cloth if you're having trouble cleaning it, but take care not to drip anything past the bezel to where the infrared thingywhoosits are.

Think I'll go with the dont worry about it crew. I was starting to fret and then even after a handwash, fingerprints still appeared. Just greasy me, I suppose (charming, not). I'll wait for the disappearance of the powdery look.

Oops that just occurred to me. I got the black to hide and smears or stains or discoloring but it didn't occur to me that black would show the fingerprints a lot more. Now that I think about it isn't the Aura relatively smooth and shiny? It might be a fingerprint magnet. I hope not.

The black surround looks so, so much better for reading, to my eyes (having had both a white Touch and a black Glo). Improves the subjective contrast of the text.
