There's actually a bookstore in my small town that *will* rent you a new hardcover bestseller for a small fee.
I always thought that was rather enterprising of them and I've taken advantage once or twice when I was just dying to read something but the library didn't have it yet and I didn't want to buy. |

I was in the middle of a James Rollins book I borrowed from Overdrive (King Country Library) on my Sony 505 when I purchsed my Nook.
Once I added the Nook to ADE I just dragged the book into the Nook and picked up where I left off. (note: I have to manually go to the page i left off on) Neat stuff! --bill |

I've gotten a couple books out from the Timberland Regional Library. The collection is fairly new but is growing. I just checked out The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (yeah, haven't read them yet, thought I'd try it).
