Failed to convert from AZW to PDF

I am new to Calibre and all of ebooks as well as this forum. I'm doing my best to follow all of the guidelines here, so here we go:

4. So, description: I got this Kindle book, used the DeDRM plugin to remove the DRM from it. This worked, which was proved by it first NOT working and giving me the error message about DRMs and then after some fiddling I was able to get it to convert to ePUB. However, when I try to convert to PDF, it runs the job for about 30 seconds, looks like it completes, and then says Failed to convert book 1 of 1 [title of book]. The details are copied above.

5. The only conversion option I touched was the output format, which I set to PDF.

I hope I've asked everything properly. I would be very grateful for your help. I really just want this as a PDF so I can bring it to school and print it out enlarged so I can read it more easily. I have terrible vision, but it's hard to take notes when it's on the computer and I don't have an ebook reader. I didn't realize getting it to be a PDF would take...over 2 hours and still not finish...*sigh*....
