I was over in West Virginia, in the Appalachian mountains. Looking for our dear android (among other things I was doing). I think he has a built in GPS unit.

We cannot, essentially, "make" anyone feel anything. All people are responsible for their own feelings and must, therefore, "own" them.

So, if I say that the robot is not capable of actually sneezing or having his ears itch, it is entirely up to him whether or not he feels inadequate.

His level of adequacy is, therefore, a subset of his own creation of his universe, one in which he is or is not adequate.

Either that or we're all a bunch of wankers. Freud was a bit unclear on that concept.

Why should he feel inadequate? He has a blue sports car, a personal jet, pets, and is often spotted by the paparazzi with lipstick smears on his shiny planet head. Frankly, he's a rock star!

I meant no disrespect by hypothesizing that our beloved Planethead might not be able to sneeze. Rather, it was envy. (Says the woman with the vicious allergy to acariens....)
