Kindle Fire HD and Calibre
I have an interesting question. I use calibre to store all my aquired books from the internet. I have converted them all to either mobi or AZW3 format, and I do have the most current version of calibre. My quarry is this: when I transfer the books onto my new kindle fire hd, some show in the books section of the kindle and some show in the documents. Why is this and how can I get them all to show in the books section??

I configured my Kindle Fire HD to only support AZW3 in calibre, so all my books, even MOBI files are converted. I was having issues with MOBI files someones not showing up under my Library.
Currently, the only books showing up under Docs are PDFs. Do you have a file explorer on your Kindle Fire? I downloaded Es File Explorer and found that a Calibre copies books to /sdcard/Documents/. Maybe you should make sure that Caliber is coping the files to that location |
