Support center iRex

Evaluation of the new support center iRex

Hi Everybody,

1 - did anybody already use the new support center iRex?
2 - in how much time did they bring you back?
3 - was the solution good?
4 - which note would you give (0 - 10)?
5 - what it went to his evaluation?
6 - some another consideration?

Yes

2 - in how much time did they bring you back?
Total time from sending my first mail to recieving my iliad back was 1 week and 9 hours.

3 - was the solution good?
Untill now it is.

4 - which note would you give (0 - 10)?

5 - what it went to his evaluation?

6 - some another consideration?
Perfect support! Couldn't have dreamed of anything better!

Two months since sending it off (damaged screen), paid Eur275 on October 19th, still waiting.

Apparently, they are waiting for a part.
Communication is bad;
- they should have told me when they invoiced me for the work that the parts weren't in stock, and they didn't have a delivery date
- I have to ask them for updates, there is no unprompted communication from their side
- they also didn't respond to my last email requesting an update; instead, I had to phone them

I'm not ready to criticise them for the lack of parts - the person I spoke to tells me that they are waiting for iRex to deliver them, and haven't been given a date themselves.

Update... my iliad was returned on Tuesday, with a nice shiny new screen.
No contact from support (despite promises); if just appeared.

So, I'm somewhat happier, but the total repair time was around 2 months, and communication from the support people was terrible.
