About to start my first Mo Yan: Which title do you recommend?

I'm on a Literature kick, always my favorite (even before zombies! ) and will start on a Mo Yan title just as soon as I finish my re-read of a Miguel Angel Asturias title.

Which one do you recommend I start with?

Thanks,
Don

In my opinion all his books are excellent, but if you want to start with the very best I would say go with either Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out or Red Sorghum.
