Code:
if (hours == 0) hours = 12;
if (hours > 11) {
	m = "pm";
	if (hours > 12) hours -= 12
}
Did this, it works right/ we should add this to all hacks, i think.

Thank you so much. I installed the Direct Page Control and the clock and they are great. Love 'em. You have made my reading a lot easier.

Hi DiaboloNL,

I flashed now many times my PRS500 with Igorsk flasher and I am very satisfied with all the results. One Question: I flashed your direct page with Powering Off and it works, but after I shut the book off with Enter, it is doing always a reboot which takes a few minutes. What did I wrong?

It's working as it should. The "power off" in that hack is a hard shutdown of the reader. It puts it in the same state as if you pressed the reset button and didn't power it up.

This "power off" mode is probably only useful for storing your reader for a long period of time without running down the battery.

The normal power switch just puts the reader in to a standby mode that turns back on quickly, but pulls a surprising amount of power.

For example, I kept a reader sitting on the shelf in the "power off" mode for about a month and it still showed four bars of power when turned off. If it was in the normal standby mode that battery would probably have been dead.

Cheers,
Bob

I don't have any empirical proof, but I always power off my reader when I'm not using it, and even with reading at least a little something every day, it seems that my battery life is significantly better than when I'm using standby mode.

THX Bob! THX Nogg! Makes sense!
I have the same problem with battery power and the reader always connected to the power plu, which sometimes difficult. So now I'll shut it off with ENTER.

THX Again!
