You have to use the "Edit Book" option.
Open the book and you will see the xhtml, css and other pages |

Thank you for your answer, but it is not the "Edit Book" function. There is a function button that can display all the html files in an epub book in a small window, similar to viewing html files in txt format

An epub is a zip archive. Is it possible you at some point had epub files set to "open with" an archive manager? That would give you a texty view of the contents.

Are you thinking of the View, File Browser button/setting available when editing a book?

None of the above functions are what I want.
It took me about two weeks to find it. Which can directly view the epub and combine all the html texts for viewing |

The Editor shows both Code and preview views of each component (viewable text) as well as the CSS and OPF The Editor allows you to add Images, HTML and CSS files I find no valid reason for one huge Monolithic mess. The S&R, spell check features work across all parts (selected by type). You can drag the order of the sections |

What the OP wants is a really terrible way to do it and using the editor is the best way to do it.

Maybe he meant the 'Inspector' (see the attached screenshot). I use the inspector a lot, but mostly inside the Editor. It is useful to find CSS conflicts.
To use it in the Viewer, just press 'Esc' to show the controls, and choose 'Inspector' at the bottom. On the inspector window, you can hover the paragraphs and they are highlighted on the Viewer window. P.S.: It is easier to use it inside the Editor, because the Viewer has a lot of extra HMTL/CSS. The book content is inside '#document'. |

And I don't know much about scripting plug-ins At the end of 2023 March, I finally figured out where the function was. Can barely improve the efficiency of their access to HTML source |

No, the epub is usually ALREADY separate html files.
Also the HTML without the css file is broken. |
