Calibre-cache directory clear
Hello everyone,
I am facing an issue similar to the one mentioned to the post 'Calibre cache' by thiago.eec, at 19-10-2019. I am opening a lot of ebooks, for review, and 'calibre-cash' folder is now quite big. At Calibre v.6.5, my calibre-cash folder is: 'C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\calibre-cache\' Underneath there are various files and folders, with ev2\f\*.* being the big one. The question is: is it safe to close Calibre and delete folder 'C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\calibre-cache\' and all sub-folders from time to time? Will this affect any functionality of my existing library? Thank you in advance, |

yes, its safe as long as neither calibre nor the calibre viewer are running. And no deleting it only has the effect of causing the viewer to be slow when re-opening a previously opened book, since the cache is not available.
