There are 7 books in the "Clubfoot" series of secret agent action novels, featuring Dr Grundt, an agent of the German government as the "baddie". The first appeared in 1918 with Dr Grundt an agent of the German Kaiser around the outbreak of WW1, and concluding in 1944 with Dr Grundt an agent of the Nazis. The titles are:

The series recounts the various conflicts between the "goodies", usually the British Secret Service, and Dr Grundt.
