Smile Welche Features wünscht Ihr euch für den "perfekten Reader"?
Ich wollte mal fragen welche Features Euch bei den heutigen eBook Readern fehlen. Was für Verbesserungen würdet Ihr euch für Euren "perfekten Reader" wünschen?

Ich bin noch am Überlegen aber als iPhone-Besitzer wünscht man sich natürlich einen großen Touchscreen (ja ich weiß den gibt es beim Sony PRS-700 schon).

Simpel. Ich wünsch mir Stanza auf einem eink Reader. Dabei soll Stanza genau so funktionieren wie auf dem iPhone, nur soll es auch noch möglich sein, die Bücher direkt rauf- und runterzuladen!

Der Sony 505 plus Blocksatz plus W-Lan plus Touch (aber ohne Displayeinschränkungen) plus UMTS plus schneller plus....

Toll wäre natürlich wenn Stanza auch noch PDF (natürlich mir gutem Reflow) anzeigen könnte.

Ihr Pessimisten

Das Cybook hat schon einiges, was mir gut gefällt (Schriftgrößen, Lookupmode, Blocksatz). epub wäre jetzt noch hübsch, aber die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt. Zu Touchscreen sag ich auch nicht nein, da sind wir iPhone-isten aber vermutlich etwas verwöhnt . Jetzt hätte ich das ganze aber bitte gerne "unkaputtbar" oder zumindest nicht gar so empfindlich. Ich möchte das Gerät einfach mal in die Badetasche, den Wanderrucksack oder einen eh schon überfrachteten Koffer packen können. Oder es einfach mal im Garten liegen lassen ohne ständige Angst, dass meine Rasselbande damit Frisbee spielt.

Wie bei allen anderen mobilen Geräten auch ist mir die Batterie sehr wichtig, dass ich sie selber wechseln kann und dass sie natürlich eine fantastische Leistung bietet.

Dann würde ich mich riesig über eine Zitierfunktion freuen. Ich würde gern das erste und letzte Wort eines Absatzes oder so markieren können, enter drücken und schon speichert das Programm diesen Absatz in einer extra Datei, idealerweise noch mit dem Fundort (also 1. Kapitel oder 5. Unterkapitel, da es ja keine Seitenzahlen gibt). Ich glaube, der IRex 1000 hat so eine Funktion schon.

Ach ja, ein Extraknopf zum schnellen Aufrufen des Wörterbuches wäre super.

Zugabe wäre die Möglichkeit, mehrere Schriftarten in einer Datei verwenden zu können.

Ich wünsche mir nicht einen "perfekten Reader", sondern ein noch viel mehr spezialisierteres Gerät:

Ein eInk-Display, was seitlich am TFT-Monitor befestigt wird, min. 10" groß, auf dem (A4) PDFs sauber dargestellt werden. Idealerweise mit USB-Anschluss (keine Displayanschlüsse der GraKa belegt). Adobe Reader kann während dieser Prozedur ruhig im Hintergrund offen bleiben. Auch, um am eInk-Display gelesene Textstellen am TFT markieren, kommentieren und rausspeichern zu können.
Warum? Hunderte Seiten lange Ausschreibungen am TFT zu lesen ist ermüdend, und alles auszudrucken Verschwendung.

Und nein, ich werde sicher nicht mein Cybook für die Arbeit verwenden
