Also, entweder bekommen wir den ersten Schwall heißer (Frühlings)Luft mit klassischer Vaporware präsentiert (Berliner Firmen sind da ja etwas vorbelastet ...), oder uns steht noch ein nettes Überraschungsei zu Ostern ins Haus.

Nicht überraschend. Tablets sind momentan gefragt. Aber deswegen jeden und alles gleich unterstellen, Apples EiPad zu kopieren, finde ich übertrieben.
Windows 7, WinMobile oder Android bieten einfach eine gute Basis dafür momentan, die vorher so nicht vorhanden war. Die Komponenten sind Standard - findet man überall (Flash-Speicher, LowCurrent-CPUs, Touchpanels). Dass der Screen eine höhere Auflösung als das iPad hat, ist auch schnell aufgelöst: Ein 1366-Panel ist heutzutage einfach leichter verfügbar als ein 1024er (Zum Kuckuck, findet mal eins ohne Schrott-Monitore auszuschlachten), bei gleichen Kosten.

Ja. Beides Betriebssysteme, die sich nativ "touch-only" bedienen lassen. Man könnte meinen, sowas sei positiv für die Glaubwürdigkeit eines Tablets Alle 3 sind relativ jung, da vorher kein Bedarf an Touch-OS bestand - Der Smartphone-Markt hat hierfür Vorarbeit geleistet.
Btw, gibts eigentlich Mac OS für Tablets? Ach ja, ich vergaß - Apple!

Von den Ebookformaten gefällt es mir schon mal besser als das iPad:
"Alle offenen zuzüglich Premium (WeBook) " obwohl ich nicht wirklich weiß, was Premium ist, vielleicht DRM WeBook-Pdf oder so

Mit Android ist es was nettes für Bastler und wohl auch wieder so ein Zwischending zwischen Filmchen anschauen, Ebook lesen und keine Ahnung was.

Ja, Win7 unterstützt touch, ist in der Realität aber so nicht brauchbar. Da muss schon noch viel passieren.
Am Ende wird doch wieder nur eine Oberfläche oben drauf gelegt.

Es ist halt die Frage, was man will.

Einen halbwegs vollwertigen PC mit leidlich brauchbarer Touch-Funktion
oder
Ein sehr gut funktionierendes Touch-Design mit eingeschränkten PC-Funktionen

Das beste aus beiden Welten scheint ja derzeit kein einziger Hersteller zu schaffen.

Mich erinnert diese Meldung an eine andere Berliner Firma, die dem Kindle Konkurrenz machen wollte, spätestens zu Weihnachten.

Für Apple wird es schon schwer genug sein, Inhalte an Land zu ziehen:

Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, daß dieses Konkurrenzprodukt auch nur den Hauch einer Chance hat. Weder vor dem iPad noch nachher.
