At 116 books I'm almost to my goal of 120 books. My goal was actually to read less (last year I read 190 books) and do more: hiking, camping, traveling, concerts, etc. I'm on a no-planned-end-point road trip and currently in Seattle (10k walk & concert tomorrow, Las Vegas for December, Tucson for January). So both goals met.

Very well done. I cut my challenge way back to 52 for the year, for similar reasons to you. Looks like I'll end up at about 75 to 80, so that's not too bad...

Just added in all the latest "read" books on my ereaders and the paper books that I've finished and - DING, DING, DING - we have another Reading Challenge completed!

Last year I couldn't make it to my target goal of 100, but this year so far I'm up to 106 and still going.

I thought that my computer gaming was the reason why I didn't read as much last year, and I cut back on that this year and it has made the difference.

30 days remaining and I am at 131 out of 150 of Part C of my challenge.

I'm at 144/150, and my current book's a three-in-one omnibus. I still don't think I'll have any trouble hitting the mark.

Even with taking over three months off from reading (not intentionally, was just doing other stuff, mostly video games) I'm still going to hit 50+ books this year. Finished #46 last night.

I am on book 26 of 30. With over 11.000 pages read, but 1 book behind according to the Goodreads widget. I have to read 4 books to finish this challenge in the next month ~.~

So jelly of all the people who have theirs finished. Well done

I need to update my own list, but according to Goodreads, I am 85 books into my challenge (I'm aiming for last year's high of 94 books.) I don't know if I'll reach my goal or not, but I'll be pretty close.

Good job to everyone closing in on their goals! Reading more this year seemed to be going back to basics for me - less gaming, less TV viewing. Now, if I could only moderate my reading to include a little more housework....

I reached my fairly unambitious goal of 36 books this year. But I did cut down on what I call "crappy books" (the ones you know are going to be bad, but you enjoy reading, you know the ones...

) and read either classics or Lit Prizes, mostly big books.

So next year i think I should track the number of pages read because right now I feel slightly ridicilous with my 36 books among you guys.....

PS: Do you know whether there is a nice goodreads tracker to use on other pages ? Looked for it but can't seem to find one...
