PRS 650 vs PRS 950

Hi there,

although I am from germany, where the PRS 90 is not available, I am havin the opportunity to get one.

The PRS 650 is about 230€ in germany but when purchasing it in the US I would only pay 145€ for the PRS 650 and about 185€ for the PRS 950.

I am sure that I will get one from the US, but the question is which one.

Is the display the same?
I have seen the PRS 650 and the PRS 600 and there is a huge difference in the displays (I wouldn't buy the PRS 600).

My question is: is the display of the PRS 950 the same (in contrast, sharpness and all that, but not in size ^^) as the PRS 650.

Which would mean it would be worth to get it.

Another option is to get a PRS 900 or a PRS 700 on ebay.

What do you think?
Is there anybody who has experience with these ebook readers?

By the way the most important about the reader should be that it is possible to read normal ebooks/pdfs on the reader and cope ebooks on the device without(!!!) having an internet connection. I dont want a device like the kindle (or any similar device with which it is possible to do things which amazon did) after that Orwell incident.

Mattes, the 950 does have connectivity on it, both 3G and Wifi. So, it would be possible that the same thing that happened with the kindle could happen with it.

Both the 650 and the 950 have the new screens.

Yes you are right, I saw that, but it is not mandatory to have the wifi turned on and to be connected to the internet when putting new ebook/pdfs on the device, as it is with the Kindle, is it?
