Deleted files ghosting?
I've tried deleting several books from my Nook, and the files themselves seem to be gone, but they're still listed on the Nook's shelf.
Mostly this has happened in the "My Documents" folder, but there's also a book in the "My B&N Library" folder that is doing the same thing. As I said, the files themselves seem to be gone. If I connect to the computer and navigate directly to the My Documents folder, the epub files are gone. If I connect via Calibre, the books don't show up in my device's library. But when I disconnect the Nook and view My Library, the titles of the deleted books are still listed, and hitting 'Check for New Content' doesn't seem to help. As for the books themselves, if I try to view 'Item Details & Options', it will still allow me to view each book's metadata, but if I attempt to open the file itself, I get a "Unable to Open Document" error. Is there any way I could get rid of these ghost files? |
