Keep in mind that they were announcing the XO-2 for a long time, and eventually canceled it completely (which is when they decided to release the XO-1.5 instead). Will we really see an XO-3 in 2012... ???

Heck, I'm pushing 40 and use an OLPC. Well, I did install Ubuntu on it, but it makes a great reader and a decent semi-rugged portable computer.
I've felt for a long time the one thing it misses the most is a touchscreen. I've considered hacking one into it, but nobody seems to make one that matches the screen's dimensions. |
