Background texture + refreshing
I am interested in using a paper texture as a background to provide a little subtle variation on the screen and make it look more like paper. I found the "cre_background_image" image option through some googling, and I'm able to set that just fine.
However, every time a page turns, the device does a full screen refresh. I tried poking around in the screen settings, but nothing seems to affect it. Is there a way to turn off full-page refresh when using a background image in koreader on an e-ink device? The black flash is pretty disruptive. |

You'd better ask there: https://github.com/koreader/koreader/issues/3871
It may require to investigate crengine code to determine if every page refresh is hardcoded or not for this case. |
