Preferences -> Plugins -> UI plugins. The version number is shown in the plugin list. (The new one I've just installed is shown as 1.0.5.)

It may never have been released. (I have 1.02 also).

The way get plugins schema works, is it looks at the 1st message for the PI file
(it may also use the index details, but many of those are contained IN the plugin zip). It compares YOUR Calibre install to the PI requirements. Only then does it show you them on any tab

Doing it with the plugin is not as good as doing it with the Calibre editor. I do it with the editor and I know the results are just what I want. Plus, I can reduce the sie of other graphics so the overall size reduction is good without reducing the resolution to be too small like the 300px wide covers are too small.
