I'm not sure what you're doing with the CSV, but if you are examining it whilst looking at another library in the regular calibre GUI then maybe you could use CalibreSpy. BR |

I'll take a look at that later. Any chance of you knowing how to add the second custom column in the icon rule?

How about defining a 'dummy' column (integer) shown with no text, with two rules that show the same icon - 'uninteresting.png'. The first would interrogate 'Cloud' custom column, and the second the 'Lists' User Category. BR |

I have an user category called Uninteresting in that category are different kind of tags, relationships, and sometimes authors which aren't interesting.
The icon rule is set up to be anything that has information in the Cloud column shouldn't get the icon for Uninteresting. I would like to add another column to that, one called Lists. So when I've added something to one of 2 different lists it wouldn't show the icon for uninteresting even if it has a tag of some kind already in the Uninteresting. As I've asked in the thread for User Category, I would love to be able to add rules in the User Category but that's not possible I guess. |

Posting the PM here since you're likely to get more input and it might help others, too.

Looking at the Calibre function reference for str_in_list, it seems like it should only apply to the top Uninteresting category. Perhaps you could use (contains) instead? Code:
contains(uc,'Uninteresting',icon,'') |

The "contains" solution looks to be working, I'll do some more tests and see if it holds up.
Thanks a bunch for solving it for me. |
