Native American Author
I am Louis Eagle Warrior of the Lenape Indian Nation (AKA: Delaware).
My two books are lable for eReaders. And, I'm happy to say, have begun to sell. They are, on first appearance, quite different from one another. The topic of the first is what is \Self-Help. The other deals with gambling. A closer look and read, however, will reveal that they share a basic underlying theme - self-empowerment. They are Dynamics of the Self Nook: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Dyn...+eagle+warrior Kindle Version: http://www.amazon.com/Dynamics-of-th...349018&sr=8-18 Dynamics of Craps Nook: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Dyn...+eagle+warrior Kindle: http://www.amazon.com/Dynamics-Winni...9505888&sr=1-2 They are also available from Sony and iBooks. (How do I upload photos of the covers?) Louis Eagle Warrior |

Welcome to Mobileread.... Have you seen the Author Self-Promotion Forum ... and also the Writers' Corner ... Just two of the many gems we have on board ... The first one perhaps of more use to a wider audience than this part of Mobileread...Covers can be uploaded, use attachment under "Go Advanced". A signature line will also be a place to put covers, but you'll have to wait for around 10 posts and one week since registration before you can get that as an option. Note the FAQs dictate what you can and can't do with signature and image sizes. Welcome.... |

Graphics are easy to upload, and the Advanced settings in the post window are fairly self-explanatory. You can either link to your own website or upload the picture as an attachment, then click on the drop-down box under the paper-clip to secure your graphic to the post. As an author, you'll be posting your book promotions in the Author Self-Promotions forum. Before posting, please take some time to read this post first, as there are limits as to what is and isn't allowed, and what size graphics are allowed. Good luck with your sales! -- Tom |

Hello, Louis, and welcome from another Delwarean. I'm very familiar with Lenape history in these parts.

Lenape vs Delaware
Cara
Actually, I live in Maryland, not Delaware. Many of us prefer to use the Indian Word Lenape or Lenni Lenape ("We the People") as opposed to the English, 'Delaware.' Although many do call themselves Delaware, the name was stuck on us from Lord Del A Warr, who along with being a despot who was sent back to England never visited this region. Yet, a State, river and Indian Nation were named for him. Pretty cat, by the way. Looks a little like one of my three except mine is gray. Louis Eagle Warrior |
