Book won't show up on device
I downloaded a MOBI book and added it to the Mac OS X Kindle app. When I go to my device, it won't show up.
What am I doing wrong? |

What do you mean "go to your device"? If you added it to the Mac Kindle app, it isn't going to show up on a Kindle. You have to copy it to the Kindle.

Yes, you need to connect your Kindle via USB, and then drag and drop the .mobi file onto the documents folder of your Kindle.

If you're going to be doing a lot of side-loading, I'd recommend using Calibre. But, if it's just a couple books here and there, direct USB dropping is suitable.
