Change Font Size Increments?
Are there any tools to make the "large" font size smaller? Especially in reflowed PDFs, the medium font size is sometimes too small to read comfortably and the large font size is way too big. Is there a way to change this for the PRS-350?

Yes. It's a bit tricky though and you'd need custom firmware.
You need to add the following to the environemnt vars of the kconfig.xml: Code:
<!-- Trick to change the scaling factor --> <variable name="bbebTextScale-1" value="95"/> <variable name="bbebTextScale0" value="100"/> <variable name="bbebTextScale1" value="105"/> <variable name="bbebTextScale2" value="110"/> <variable name="bbebTextScale3" value="115"/> <variable name="bbebTextScale4" value="120"/> <!-- Trick to change the scaling factor --> |

Wow, that is awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I'll be installing PRS+ to try this.

This would work with any CFW as all allow to execute shell scripts on startup and that's what you'd need. But remember: This is a low level change that WILL confuse reader software. It's not compatible with Reader Library until you find and modify corresponding XML file in it. It WON'T work with books that you've already opened as they contain formatting information, which is wrong, because you've change font scale, but reader doesn't know it. It will mess up your notes as well (for the same reason) |

Thanks for the warning. Maybe it's not worth the trouble after all. But getting 3-4 different usable font sizes would be really nice. Right now, font sizes might as well not be adjustable, because for most files, there's only one size that's usable.
